Video: How carbon-intensive is your electricity?

Power markets worldwide are undergoing fundamental shifts in their supply mix, and as a result the carbon emission intensity of electric grids (i.e. the emissions per unit of electricity produced) is evolving rapidly. This change has substantial repercussions on the carbon footprint of corporations operating in these markets, and on their ability to become net zero in the future.

In this brief video, S&P Global Commodity Insights shows quantitatively how we expect power grids to become cleaner over time and in different regions of the world, from the United States to Europe and Asia. This type of information helps corporations answer the question: "How carbon intensive is my electricity?"
