He joined Nissan Motor Company in 1990 and was in charge of technical liaison with the North American government on safety/ITS technology. From 1999, he worked at Nissan North America Washington, D.C. office. After returning to Nissan in 2005, he was in charge of environmental technology planning. In 2007, he participated in the launch of Nissan LEAF at Nissan Technical Center North America, where he was mainly in charge of charging infrastructure dissemination strategies. 2011 After returning to Nissan, he was in charge of the strategy to promote electric vehicles. He has held his current position since 2018.
